hats for my "minions"

My kids finally got to see Despicable Me...and Despicable Me 2.

They LOVE the minions.  I found a cute pattern to try and now I'm making a minion hat for each of my kids...even our little girl Emma. What I did was make the iris of the eye the color of each of the kids.  That way they know what hat is their's.

I got the pattern from Butterfly's Creations.

It's called Entrelac. It's small squares/diamonds of Tunisian Stitches or the afghan stitch

That's right! It's HUMP DAY.

One of the pages I follow on Facebook has a Wednesday tradition of  "Hooking on Hump Day". Not that there has to be a reason to get out the crochet hook!

Slowly but surely, I am getting content added to the pages. Please go take a look.

Right now here in VA, at 9 am, it's 4 degrees. Way too cold! Going to get the hook out and work on some things! Have a great day!!
